  3. She is some poor college woman who has been misappropriated for a series of memes.

  4. Uh, whichever. If your Fb ranting is at odds with the fights you don't fight in your personal life, it applies. I'm not saying much more than that.

  5. I'm a little uncomfortable with blaming the child - especially a female child - in a poor domestic situation for walking away. I agree with your point about fighting the good fight in your personal life, Cüneyt, but that picture leaves me cold.

  6. Once that kid grows up, she'd--and he'd--better have some response to the cruelty and injustice in her life, rather than Othering it and tolerating the real thing in her face like a goddamned coward. I've met too many World-Changers who can't say a thing when someone bitches about the niggers and Jews. Because that's Dad. That's Grandma.

Fuck them. Fuck those who bitch about presidential injustice and let children and grandchildren witness abuse and cruelty and thereby perpetuate it.

  7. And I was a child who did what he could to survive. That's fine.

    I grew up.

So that's why there's a little bit of the personal tone.

  8. It all depends on age, yeah. I'm probably just reading the woman in that picture as younger than you are.

  9. Not an excuse but certainly the point: college teaches cowardice. Misappropriation is the name of the game.

Chomsky teaches as MIT for Chrissakes!!!

Shit, the least he could do is clog the toilets or throw the circuit breaker every now and then.
